…after reading this all I can say is I hope the person that actually owns the horse the OP is riding sees this thread and takes away the privilege they’ve been given of having a horse supplied to them to ride whenever/wherever they want for free…
Roy Rogers probably had a lot of wet blankets in his lifetime.
Happy trails to you, until we meet again…
Yes; referring to someone as (a) the owner of the horse she is getting to ride for free, (b) a friend, and © a “cheap ba$+@rd” in one and the same post is kind of a character give-away. OP hasn’t been active on the board since Nov. 11th.
Does anyone still think the Potential Pony Owner might not have been to blame?
I still wonder what really went down in that transaction…
Oh snap, I was thinking the same thing just now!
You are trolling this thread, ya’ know.
This post?
A horse that has been “rescued” only to be fed a diet even partially consisting of fast-food-restaurant “grease” needs to be “re-rescued” ASAP.
I find it discouraging to consider why anyone would post this drivel and expect to be taken at face value. I think it is another instance of a person trying to get their jollies at the expense of others, in quite an unhealthy manner.
“I could just throw a curve (sic) bit on, carry a rubber tube on my belt and get my way by force” as well (perhaps), but the law doesn’t allow that sort of response to internet instigators, no matter how annoying they may be.
Always did, but how can there be any doubt?
I’m still wondering what run burn-out means…
I think it’s a term used in auto drag racing. I think the OP is sincere and not a troll.
Curious non sequitur. ?
If it’s the drag-racing reference, then it is more evidence that the OP doesn’t give a flying flip about a horse’s well-being.
Riding well is a journey about art…not an instant product that you simply add water to…
It has been a long time since I thought the Potential Pony Owner did anything wrong in that situation.
Aren’t you the one that was recently upset that people want to use your expertise and not pay for it and how dare they want to do that, you should be able to get paid for the instruction you give the people riding your horse and get money for them riding your horse?
Not only that but she complained about selling a horse and how the new buyer, using her training skills, is selling the horse at a bigger price. Called Americans lazy.
You would think that someone who thinks money is ruining their favorite sport would be all over giving free training rides to people on their fancy horses and maybe even offer to help someone like the OP here by offering them free lessons too.
I’m late to the party but just had to ask…W T actual F???
Didn’t you say that about 5 pages ago?
I think she is on a loop!
Or several threads ago even!
Loop is right.
Anyone know what the Maestro’s been up to lately… Fighting the War on Xmas, I imagine.
