Dumb Question: How big do you consider a pony for eventing?

Forrest Nymph is 149 cm with shoes, so an ‘FEI’ pony, but she is actually now registered as a new forest pony via NFPSNA, in addition to being branded as an ISR Old Sport Pony.

She does not carry any pony measurement card as the only place an FEI pony would be legally measured in the US is at a USEF Dressage or Driving Competition.

One wonders if the UK NF breed society has no interest in Farrah because she is a new forest pony from lines bred in Holland. Her sire was imported from there and those lines have been out of the UK for quite some time. Probably political and not really relevant to her height

I am a huge New Forest Pony fan as we owned the most amazing NFP. Taught my daughter so much. We were crushed when we lost him to colic.

Forrest Nymph is amazing! Who cares where she was bred? Seems to me like she would be a great ambassador for what this breed is capable of. It was her BEING a NFP that got me into her fan club.
