I should also not that I do not take horses in and out of my Dutch doors. Which is why having the stall screen door really works well…we are not going in and out all the time. I have them to have more air in the stalls and in case of a fire at least there is a small chance we could get some of the horses out. But yes, with sliding latches, you have to make sure they are slide flush with the door if you are leading in and out through them. There are some you can get with springs so they close themselves to avoid that issue.
