Dutch harness horse drama. Update major mare/ foal neglect Nov 2023 post 1782 Update Kate Shearer responds post 1930 Nov 25/23

A bunch of the grooms wives or family do this at all the shows. Probably not 100% legal but the owners are thankful guys aren’t ordering off show menu, the grooms like home cooking like they are rises too, and the money helps raise some of their kids. Hopefully no one on here hates me enough to report the sweet neighborhood lady.

Reposting about tacos? (The post you responded to was about tacos, and how someone likes tacos.)

Good to know. Thank you for informing me of all my alters, but I must say, whoever you sent the private message to, it did not get to me or any of my imaginary alters. (I have no alters. I can barely remember one password.)

I admit I am still confused, hopefully you can clarify. Previously you demanded we all meet you on facebook, but you have yet to tell us where to meet you there?
Was that the point of the taco post? We should meet you at the taco post? I am sorry to say that I have not looked up this breeder on facebook so I do not know where to find the taco post. (And darn, now I want tacos.)

And just a FYI, if you want @Moderator_1 to see your post where you are telling them that you are removing all your funding you either have to actually respond to the private message you are saying they sent you or you have to actually tag them in the thread, like I did here so you can see how it is done. Mod 1 is much too busy to read every post in every thread.

Before I comment on the whole license thing I am going to clarify that I could care less if someone is selling yummy tacos to people at a horse show with out all the proper paperwork to do so.
I would guess that just because lots of people sell homemade foods without a license to do so does not equal that a license is not required to sell foods like that.

I have heard drama about this topic local to me (nothing to do with horse shows, more to do with a type of facebook situation like you mention) and some people have been forced to upgrade their kitchen and get a license if they want to continue to do their food selling online.

Here in Indiana I can sell food products out of my home thanks to what are called cottage food laws but I would need a permit to sell them at a farmers market. So it’s going to depend on your state.

We have a lasagna lady who delivers lasagna and she cooks in a commercial kitchen.

Anyone who would report your neighbor needs to take a long, hard look at themselves and what kind of person they are. Especially if they do it because of a connection with you…that is just appalling.

I’m guilty of reading this thread because of how long it is. I don’t quite understand what the point was or the original thread mentioned in the OP.

I think @Kasheare is justified in worrying about that considering how much effort (IMO) was put into dragging this thread down whenever it became productive.

Again I don’t know the whole backstory or anything. I also think it would be super crappy for someone to report the neighbor because I think sometimes laws that are in place have their place, but selling food to a relatively small group of people for whatever reason should just be looked upon as a good deed.

Well it follows with the theme of this entire thread….posted to attack me and every aspect of my life.

Ummm… what?

A. Respond to a DM with a DM.
B. Tag Mod 1 if you want them to even see your pithy post.
C. What funding?

… or maybe all of this is just for show and sh*ts and giggles.

You are “bullying” people behind a screen name. Ergo, I expect that you won’t take it.

Damn all of you - I am craving street TACOS!!!

Oh, fudge, now I want scalloped potatoes and ham.

It turned out well.

I used this recipe for the potatoes. Loved it! Even my picky daughter enjoyed.

Not going to look again at the horse eating chick video, but guessing that was a security camera from the angle and all.

And if a person WAS holding the camera from that high up, how would he/she get down fast enough to save the chick? Maybe holler at the horse and distract it?

My Para student had a mare that would pick eggs out of her scooter basket and eat them if she wasn’t careful to hide them from Hungry Mare. But chicks? No.

I haven’t been paying attention, I guess. Who is this Katis and why is Katis so mad?

It is not that you have not paid attention.
There is no evidence of who they are or why they are ranting at us.

Is there a delivery option? When I judge there, the officials options are limited - often its cold pizza or warm salad lol.

Well, OK then! Thanks! :grimacing:

No alter necessary here. Same name since I joined over 14 years ago.

Please show me where I have bullied you.

QFP. Just because this is hysterical.

The only thing @anon6796898 has not threatened me with is “this is going on your permanent record”!

Well thank goodness for that because we all know there is nothing more scary than the threat of something going on your permanent record.

I know! Can you imagine how bad if would be if it was on our permanent records? Oh, the shame!!!

I am very confused. @anon6796898 did you think people were talking to you when they were talking to @Kasheare?

Either way, this thread keeps on taking some really weird turns. Can we get back to the breeding discussion? I’m not a breeder and don’t play one on TV but I am fascinated by the considerations.
