My kitten ate all the flowers off my African Violets. Nothing happened to him but I try and keep the plants away from him. (Easier said than done now that he’s big . . . .)
I have never had a cat eat my Xmas Cactuses. Have not had a problem with Ivy or any other houseplant either.
Poinsettia is toxic.
Yes - I had to give up on African Violets as well. Even though they were on the windowsill over the kitchen sink, one of my cats would do anything to reach them & decimated the leaves. Thus I switched over to orchids, which the cat doesn’t care for. Same cat also doesn’t care for Xmas cactus either, so I have one of those as well on the same windowsill.
