I had a mare that had soo little forlock that there was just not enough to braid so I started putting it in a little bun. Just wet hands twist it all one direction and in that same direction twirl it into a bun super easy super fast and actually I thought it really looked good rubber band around the whole thing like you would your own hair. If you have a massively thick forelock well this might not work it may end up being too big just have to try ad see.

I don’t know what I’m going to do with my girl if she goes to any shows this year. I have let her mane grow out for the past two years. It would take a long time to thin it. I might just do rosette braids or scallops if I need to braid. I kind of like her long mane. It looks cute on her.
You do a running braid. It only takes minutes.
