EHV1 Outbreak in Ontario/Quebec/ All over

He supposedly was showing signs as per their post. I believe he was injured and is coming off of his injury, so wondering if it was stress related and not contact related.

So far so good. They caught it really fast, and the affected horse was vaccinated so hopefully that minimized shedding (and it’s non-neuro).

Update: both stables on our property have had zero symptoms, no other affected horses  Awaiting official quarantine clearance.

There have also been new cases reported: 3 neuro strain in Northumberland County (and sounds like somebody broke the voluntary quarantine and moved a horse off the property??), and one abortive in York region: https://www.equinediseasecc.org/alerts (if it doesn’t show you the alerts, it’s number 2036 with the weird horse movement case).
