Emily King (Mary King's daughter) crowdfunds to keep prospect

  • sigh * I would LOVE an inappropriate poem…

FYI over on the H&H thread some folks have reported Emily to the British Eventing Fraud dept for not updating the JustGiving page to indicate that she’s already secured the horse. Apparently she’s still getting donations even though the horse was secured through the help of 2 private investors. There also seems to be some questioning if all the prize money will actually go to charity.

If that’s not enough now apparently the horse is getting a ‘rest’ and folks are wondering why in the beginning of the season with only 2 outings in May so far this year.

Her boyfriend is the SON of the guy who owns BOSS, and his mother is a solicitor. Boyfriend (Sam Ecroyd) works out of a yard owned by his parents, and is probably not worth very much.

Y’all. Don’t tempt me.

Just saw his recent post on FB. Classy guy…

Can you screen shot? His page seems to be private as I can’t see anything recent.

I know everything on the internet is considered fair game but it seems kind of tacky to screenshot and share stuff that’s not posted publicly in order to make fun of people.

If you look at the picture, you can see the little global icon so the post is public. That said, the post itself doesn’t bother me in the least. It’s a dumb joke, but I make dumb jokes all the time.

The crowdfunding rubs me the wrong way, for sure, but I don’t think it’s right to bring in a Facebook post that has nothing to do with the crowdfunding issue. And I doubt it would bother anyone if it was posted by someone else.

fun police are out…not making fun of anyone. I said he seemed like a classy guy…lol

Btw, it does turn out it’s public. For whatever reason, when I searched his name on FB, his private page came up first. So my fault on that, sorry!
