Equiwinner electrolyte patches - science or snake oil?

 I used them on my anhydrotic warmblood mare for 5 years, and she started sweating within a few days and never stopped again. I was tempted to skip a year but afraid to! She had never responded to One AC, accupuncture, or beer. I was a total skeptic about how a patch could work, but the money-back guarantee persuaded me to try them . Since then, other supplement companies have developed products that may be very effective…but the fairly reasonable cost and ease of use for 10 days once a year was a game changer for us. I have no comment on uses for other conditions e.g. headshaking.

I tried them for headshaking and a non sweater (different horses) and had no luck. But they did refund my money promptly when I called so I wouldn’t hesitate to try them again.

I tried them this summer for my non-sweater. Did not work, but they refunded my money after a somewhat annoying phone call (they wanted me to change my horse’s diet after I told them I was at a full care barn and it was NOT possible).

I have a horse that started flinching and shaking his head in a way that was very taxing on him, I tried everything with no luck. I ordered the Equiwinner and at first it did absolutely nothing, I left the patches on for several day each and after about 16 days the head shaking and flinching stopped. That was 5 months ago and he has started doing it again, I just ordered another shipment of Equiwinner. I cant explain how it works but it worked for my horse and if it doesn’t work this time I will get a full refund. If your horse has a head shaking problem Equiwinner is worth a try, it worked once so I am hoping it works again!

First post and you’re reviving a thread that hasn’t had a post in 10 months? Noooooooooope
