Euthanizing a mare with a young foal

{Hugs}…I am so sorry. :frowning:

So sorry for you, your mare and her colt. It’s never an easy decision to make.

Godspeed Diva, your work here was well done.

:frowning: Jingling for the foal, and for you ~ safe crossing, Diva.

Knowing the joy of having a mare and foal I want to say I am so sorry - it is terribly hard for you. May the baby be all you planned and give you much joy
and may the Mum live on in it with all her best points.

:cry::cry::cry:.

I am so sorry.

I’m so sorry. Having a foal at side makes the whole thing a new level of awful :frowning:
At least she got to raise her boy for a good while. Jingles for a peaceful passing, and hugs to you and Diva.

Diva, go in peace to a painfree place. Hugs to those who love her and best wishes for the little one and the future … God Bless and Godspeed.

I’m thinking of you. I am so sorry… Such a terrible situation. :frowning:

Things WILL work out well though, I’m sure of it!

Remember you have many, many good thoughts and best wishes with you. Hang in there.

No words can relieve the grief…you are in my thoughts.

I am so sad and so sorry. Hugs to you and to Diva and her colt.

I’m so sorry, Jenny.

I just saw this thread for the first time.
I can’t find words to convey how sad and sorry I am.

So sorry, prayers…

I’m so sorry…

Run free, sweet Diva. Your foal will be treasured. :frowning:

I have been watching for this update, Jenny, and I’m so sorry to see it. Beautiful Diva. I’ll miss watching her, all her endearing quirks. My own mare colicked on Memorial Day and could not be saved, so I have been thinking a lot of you and Diva in my grief.

It’s good to hear that Cheese is still in the mix. May she enjoy her new job and may the two foals bring you glory.

Sorry to hear you are loosing the mare…glad she got almost another month with her colt.

hugs today. Diva… look for D-Day, a young colt who will be crossing the bridge soon. I am so sorry for the dedicated owners.
