What if these people are early out of the time box by a fraction of a second. Is that figured into their score?

Totally inane comment, but on the live scoring results page at olympics.com, the U.S. riders look like they were dragged out of bed in the middle of the night and immediately stood before a flash camera for their headshots. Or met with a camera as they stood in line at customs after the long flight to Tokyo. Especially Phillip.

It’s once every 4 years so why not? 
I can’t believe I’m closing in on 2.30 am and still feeling ok… don’t think I’ve done this since the clubbing days of my late teens early 20s! Raising a glass of Pinot Grigio blush to much more talented and braver riders than I’ll ever be!

There was just a shot of a horse ambulance driving off and a graphic that the Swiss rider had been eliminated, but no further information.
