Expandable Hose?

A large number of your standard garden hoses carry that warning. A drinking water hose is SPENDY, but possible to find, generally on RV websites.

Have not seen that warning on common hoses, Simkie. I’ll look. I use an RV hose with my remote hot water washer just because it’s lighter and easier to handle…

Simkie is correct. Pretty much all of the hoses you buy at the home improvement store have a warning that they are not intended for potable water use.

Wow, they’re not as expensive as I recall:

But you do have to go out of your way to find one.

IIRC, the spigots usually installed in barns aren’t lead-free, either? I think I read that here…something about a lady looking for a drinking water hose and replacing her spigot with a $$$$$$$$ lead free one…
