A large number of your standard garden hoses carry that warning. A drinking water hose is SPENDY, but possible to find, generally on RV websites.
Have not seen that warning on common hoses, Simkie. Iāll look. I use an RV hose with my remote hot water washer just because itās lighter and easier to handleā¦
Simkie is correct. Pretty much all of the hoses you buy at the home improvement store have a warning that they are not intended for potable water use.

IIRC, the spigots usually installed in barns arenāt lead-free, either? I think I read that hereā¦something about a lady looking for a drinking water hose and replacing her spigot with a $$$$$$$$ lead free oneā¦
