Favorite dressage girth?

I’ve also been casually looking at girths. The issue I’m having/seeing is the anatomical or shaped girths have huge leather ends beyond the buckles. Some girths I’ve emailed vendors about have 4 inches on each side!! Even if you get a 20 inch girth the entire girth ends up being 28 inches long!

My saddle has long billets and I’m trying to find a shorter girth that doesn’t end up at or over the bottom of the saddle pad. It’s strangely harder than I’d thought!

I know exactly what you’re talking about!

My Mattes girth and Fairfax or Prolite girths aren’t so bad in this respect. Passier has a shaped dressage girth with very little leather past the buckles.

Nunn Finer Piaffe Dressage Girth! Love it.

Did you get the leather or sheepskin version?

The Ovation gel body form girths have been great for my kiddos. They’ve held up well, don’t freeze, are easy to clean, and everyone seems really happy in them. Plus they’re cheap LOL.

My problem as well! I finally found this one. It’s soft and gel-filled - and the ends are soft as well. https://www.statelinetack.com/item/flex-rider-shoulder-relief-dressage-girth/E027834%2026/?srccode=GPSLT&gclid=CjwKCAjw7MzkBRAGEiwAkOXexB7nqdFug0AQaPb5hdi7l6WQ7jxFBUpxkHCmXd_yxFJNJe0BFZ_7BxoC6mYQAvD_BwE
