Favorite horse boots?

I’ve used the Prof Choice Ventech All Purpose boots a handful of times and it has been warmer and muggier than typical here, so a good test.

Overall they fit well, although the standard size are slightly longer in height than the M fleece boots, so if you are between sizes I would size down.

They are thinner than the fleece boots, with no hard shell, so I don’t know that I would use them on a horse with a significant interfering problem, but for the occasional light rub or bump my horse may have I think they will be useful.

They were definitely cooler than the synthetic fleece boots. Although there was some sweat under them, it was less than with the synthetic fleece and the legs were cool to the touch.

Too soon to tell on durability or cleaning, but I expect them to hose off fine.

Wanted to update that I ended up with DSB boots. I am really, really impressed that my horse can be sweaty all over her body, and totally dry under her DSB boots. Not at all what I was expecting!!

sounds like you are sorted but just in case…i often ride in open fronted tendon boots and fetlock jumper boots. protection with more air flow and easily available in all sizes from tiny pony to dino warmblood and loads of colours (if you like that  )
