Fecal Water Syndrome/Stemmy Hay/Laminitis Risk

i guess that depends on your definition of “hay stretcher”.

Pelleted/chopped/cubed hay? Some (lightly) fortified fiber product where hay might or might not be a main ingredient?

I’m saying they aren’t sold locally in stock at stores in my area. I’ve never seen such here and I’m pretty familiar with what’s available locally. I’d presume I could get it ordered in. The independent feed store I use can order me whatever from several major brands. TSC might too.

Right. In my market, what’s in stock at stores is hay pellets, chopped hay and cubes. I can get a wide variety of those at any number of stores off the shelf.

Pony had a very loose pile yesterday. :woman_facepalming:t2: I started him on psyllium today. I got the 4 lb ish bag from Santa Cruz. My current plan is to basically feed that bag out to him at the label dose. He’ll get his teeth floated again in April which may or may not be a factor as he’s coming out of years of dental neglect. I’m open to adding beep to his ration. Thanks for that tip.
