I’m assuming you have a good budget, apologies if you’re trying to pinch pennies and I’m suggesting $$$ things.
Not a huge budget, but we want things done correctly so it’ll last!

You made a wise decision on concrete.
Now, absolutely have a moisture barrier installed over the raw floor before the concrete is poured.
And after the concrete is cured put down garage epoxy paint over it.
