I think you and I are the only people who dislike swoopy browbands. I did see an old-fashioned clincher browband the other day and thought it looked nice. I’m almost tempted.

Big assumptions here. My mare will shake her head like crazy if she even senses a fly near her ears.
I had a comment on one test where we scored decent but it could have been mid 70s without the head shake. Since then it’s ear bonnets always.
So yeah, even for 5 minutes they can be important for some.

Also Ive been using bonnets since the early 90s l they aren’t exactly new and yep 30 years later still using them.

I don’t like them either. It was difficult to find a new bridle this summer for my new mare without one!
