Cute!
One just showed up at my house yesterday morning lol. From what I read use food to help socialize, he just took half a day to decide people are literally the best. He had a vet visit this morning he had a bot fly larvae in his neck and a trauma to his tail. He should be ok but might need the tail amputated since he has no feeling in it.

As the owner of a cat who had to have the last few inches of his tail amputated last year at age 4 due to an injury (presumably our screen porch door), I think shortened tails are just adorable!
Many decades ago my first cat was a Manx “stumpy” (maybe a 2” tail?) so I was probably primed to like shortened tails.

I think he’ll be super cute with a little Manx style tail. He’s so incredibly sweet he ignores his wet food for cuddles. He’ll take a bite and run back over for you to pet him and takes his antibiotics and pain meds like a champ. He’s only 1.4lbs so he needs to get bigger and stronger. We have him separated from the other cats and dogs until he gets bigger and more comfortable.

Our two older kitties do spend time outside. Our current two younger ones are inside only. They were bottle babies we raised during Covid. We chatted today about adding the cat extension fencing to our dog run which is right off the house to add about 800-1000square feet outside that all cats can use.

The name is 100% my husbands. He’s a volunteer firefighter and had the smaller truck at home that they call the mobile for calls. It’s been a super busy weekend for him. Anyways when I went outside to do chores in the morning the little dude trotted up meowing and went under the truck. I could get near him but not grab him until I got a can of wet food and snagged him while eating. So long story short his name is Mobile lol

Our time with the kittens is coming to a close. They are 9 weeks and health, happy, social kitties. We have homes for all 4 of them, 2 boys go together, one cream girl goes to a relative of the boys new owner, and our favorite little girl, the tuxedo, goes to my cousin’s pastor. We haven’t altered them, but the new owners have vet appointments already and have proof of the appointments and will show proof of S/N.
