Ok now I want a pair. Maybe when my tax refund comes in I’ll consider it. I always want to try these kinds of items on though and no where near me carries them!
This is the sale version, a bit different from the regular style, it has a buckle. If you can’t find a local place to try them on you will just have to go to KY or Fairhill and buy a pair.
I bought myDuBarry’s about 5-6 years ago at the horse world expo for 50% off. I still wear them almost daily and they have been worth every. single. cent. Mine are the Clare version, not the more popular version but I actually like them better because they have a leather patch on the inside to protect them while riding.
I’m glad someone else agrees with me about the price! And I see the ladies short rain boot is also $359, they look really nice maybe I need a pair of them! I am expecting a nice tax refund this year.
The Ariat waterproof Terrain boots also get a thumbs-up for a short but still nicely waterproof boot that’s comfortable enough to walk around in … at a somewhat lower price than the super cool Dubarrys.
I was pleasantly surprised that mine made it through course walks at Kentucky and Fair Hill last year without so much as a damp sock. I abuse the heck out of them and they are so faithful!
My good friend has those and really loves them! She said she probably wouldn’t ride in them but they are a nice country boot.
Haven’t you ever noticed the DuBarry guy that stands in a pool of water all day long at the big events? He’s at the Hampton Classic horse show also. He stands outside the DuBarry booth.
yes but his boots are new!
Several of the usual vendors are missing from the lineup, wonder if they just aren’t posted? Smartpak, Jeffers, Cosequin, Ariat, Stubben and Dubarry are not listed. Am I just not seeing them on the list? I am blind sometimes.
Love these. I’m on my third pair. Would be on my second if not for a friend’s puppy. I ride in them all winter long and did walk around in them one KY when it drizzled on XC day. My feet stay dry in them.
I don’t think Smartpak had a booth at all last year, instead they spread the support/advertising around in different ways but I don’t remember exactly how.
I don’t see Fair Hill Saddlery/Charles Owen/Lemieux either? It’s early yet. Last year Lemieux was up by the stadium instead of the lower vendor area they have on the map right now.
Edit to add: okay I was ahead of myself, I found them
I still wear Beaners. Now they come in colors. I like the blue’
Thanks, I was only looking at the vendors list. Smartpak was there, across from the Stubben’s booth last year.
That might’ve been the Maryland 5* I was thinking of, I can’t 100% remember
100% agree, I love mine.
Tickets arrived in my inbox this morning!
First time going and it’s starting to feel real. I think we have pretty nice seats for stadium on Sunday - section 106T. If anyone has sat in that section before I’d love to hear if its nice, and a picture of the view would be cool.
I received my emailed tickets too. Getting so excited!! Buuut is anyone else having trouble downloading them? They’re just not loading. Any tips?
To answer my own question, it looks like some tickets are still unavailable for download. I was able to see some of them when I clicked through. Hard to be patient haha!
I was coming here to see if anyone else is having issues with their tickets. Mine says they’ll be available after the 2nd, and it mentions that they’re working to prevent resellers. I have to admit, I find it a bit surprising that tickets for three people would be a concern.
