First time Kentucky 3DE

This will be my second time going to Kentucky the first time was probably about 10 years ago but have been to Burghley and Badminton several times. Due foot/ankle issues tall boots like Dubarrys are a no go. Enter Dansko waterproof tennis shoes (Paisley). Perfect. I also have taken my waterproof Ariat paddock boots and I have a pair of Kerrits waterproof barn shoes. For me, these have been quite comfortable for slogging around the cross country course and rows and rows of shops.

I’ve got the horse trials thing down pretty well - any recommendations for restaurants - I think our hotel is close to a Cracker Barrell but I think I might need to indulge in a Kentucky Hot Brown. Suggestions are welcome. Thank you

He also got chased at Red Hills one year

@bstarlight Asking the OP (Opening Poster) How was your experience???

While watching Badminton I saw multiple dogs, on a leash, lunge out under the rope as the rider went by. Not loose but could have still caused an accident.

This wasn’t on the broadcast but during stadium, John Kyle was talking about a Corgi that chased a rider for a while. The chase ended when the Corgi couldn’t clear the KBIS Chasm. His comment was that Corgis are not very aerodynamic.

Si I still back the position of leave your dogs home.

I guess no reply from @bstarlight is about the dog conversation. So we’ll never know.
