First time POA owner, need advice.

awww, she’s adorable… What a very kind looking face.

I noticed that you are using a Tom Thumb. Have you tried different bits? My POA is great, but sometimes can get a little rambunctious on trails when the mood strikes her.

I love this bit for her and it is all I use. It is very mild when needed, yet the nose piece helps keeps her from flipping her head only when I need it.

Thanks so much for the suggestion on the bit. I am not very knowledgeable on bits. I did try a curb bit on her for a while but went back to the tom thumb.

You POA is also very cute. I have an Appaloosa that looks so much like her!!!, But mine is a varnished Appaloosa.

Thank you… She is a great little trail pony and with a sweet heart personality. I had an Appy awhile back. I guess I have a thing for spots.
