Flared breeches in canary....

BAH! Ebay is the devil. It tempts me and tortures me and all the little pictures say “buy me! buy me! buy me!” Its rather intense. Lucky for me she has none in a 26L, other wise I’d be in big trouble. Lucky for my bank account I lost the last auction that had canary-ish britches in my size. sigh They were pretty.

26L in canary, you say?

For me, I’d need to buy two pairs, split them, stitch them back together just slightly differently to make one pair!

These (this particular yellow which looks just like a canary) would go so nicely with my charcoal jacket that has purple pinstripes and purple lining!

If they were 10 inches bigger…:D:no:

Romany, My bank account is going to be very upset with you if they ship to the US! LOL To much spending these last few days.

Brandy’s Mom that link didn’t work

I do have a birthday coming up… Maybe I can justify this…

Those one Romany posted may be canary…but most are for “girls” and several are full seat. I’d much rather have the ones with pleats.

I think Damascus Equine Associates got your birthday presents!

Patience is a virtue…

To be fair, that link was specifically for someone looking for a 26! I don’t think there’s much difference between women’s and girls’ - I still own a couple of pairs of breeches from my girlhood, and I can’t see anything different between those and ones made for adults.

I bought a pair of Lucinda Green canary breeches, schoeller fabric (the best IMHO), self knee patches, pleats, etc, etc, etc, a couple of years ago, so they do exist.

I prefer fullseats, but each to their own.

Canary breeches on Ebay

I just bought a pair of these

http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=neddys+breeches+yellow&_sacat=0&_fromfsb=&_trksid=m270.l1313&_odkw=neddy's+breeches+yellow&_osacat=0

The color is fabulous and the fabric is nice although not very heavy. The seat is beige though but it’s not that horrible. They do run a little small so you might want to get a size up.

Price is good too.

I was almost ready to break down and buy the $200 Italian canary breeches in the Horse Country catalog. This is a much cheaper alternative.

I just did a search and found some really nice ones… too bad most won’t fit me… but if anyone wants to look, they seem reasonable, for how rare they are here.
here’s the link.

I just picked up a pair of old wool canary flared breeches , fit me perfectly and are in amazing shape , there was one other pair available but they were very tiny .
Question , I was taught only to wear canary with a blue jacket , I have blue and black just want to make sure I have the correct color on.
Thanks for any input.

I’ve always worn my canary breeches with a black coat. Some hunts may still decree that all ladies wear navy coats, however.
