Not palatable at all
Must not be used in trailer - slippery
Best to deep bed

Looks nice if stalls are kept deep bedded
Definitely does not adversely affect hooves in any way
Brushes out of coat and mane super easily
Requires a little more dilliget sweeping in aisles
Pokes when it gets in socks
Bags are slightly awkward but stack fairly well
Retailers are limited in my area
A little more expensive than shavings but possibly a little more cost effective over all if you deep bed
