Has anyone ever used the mistking system? I am wondering if I can put it together for run-in sheds.
Ii would make sure that the fly spray solution would not clog the nozzles. I do not have experience with it - only Pyrahna. If you have a power source that might be a good solution for a run in shed where you are not misting over a large area. providing the nozzles do not clog up.
Glade home auto sprayers with fly spray canisters in each stall. One also in the aisle. They run on batteries, I don’t have power in the barn. I rarely see a fly in the barn. But mine only come in to eat and get out of the flies outside.
This spring I put in a Shoo-Fly system in our 18 stall barn – and also for 4 grooming stalls and nozzles for the ends of the aisles. So 24 nozzles in total – plus the master unit and all the tubing required (400 ft), as well as an initial supply of insecticide. Total bill was $2,500 … labor was $650 of it and sales tax $122. It has made a WORLD of difference here in Central Florida. When we built the barn we didn’t put one in thinking we could control flies with fly predators and other techniques but it was hopeless. This year is SO MUCH BETTER … and the system also helps control mosquitos. Well worth it!!
