Well I needed to leave town and did not want to leave them unattended in the fly sheets (they have a turn out and I wanted to observe them out there to be sure they don’t snag on something). So I removed them. Both remain in pristine condition at this point. Round two is coming up.
Have not had great luck with the Mios. The old horse at my place has one and it lasted 2 months last year and 1 month this year before getting a nice big hole in the neck (likely from scratching on a fence).
Also had a SmartPak clearance deal from last year - one of the Rockin QH fly sheets, bought for my ahem rotund mare. Slid off to the side on day two and some how she tore it apart and I found it in the field. The Saxon she outgrew always stayed place
I have a Saxon and Weatherbeeta that have held up well for multiple seasons. Just bought a Kensington PolyMax on Stateline for like $50, fingers crossed that it holds up at least this year.
It appears that they have made it through nearly two days of use with no misshaps… thus far.
