I have been looking for a place to board my weanling in a pasture setting where she would have access to other foals. I am in Michigan, and have contacted every breeder here I can find. Any suggestions in Indiana or Ohio? Thanks!
Pony or Horse?

Northern Pines Farm in Maple City…Melissa has a bunch of babies, they all live outside together. That is where Skyler was born and raised, it’s worth an ask to see if she might take yours in. No idea what the current pasture board charge would be.
Thanks, slp! I sent them an email but heard at the inspection that they had no 2015 foals. Sugarbrook, it’s a horse. Sir Caletto x Jupiter. Super sweet. Ties. Have not tuned her out with anyone but mom because I am too scared someone will get hurt. She is happy in her paddock and has horses on either side of her, but her momma wants to come home!
If you’re willing to go to IL I highly recommend Rolling Oaks Farm. While they don’t breed anymore, they still do young horse boarding. Right now they have a collection of young horses bred by Charlie Jayne. Some very handsome babies!
I may know some people in NE Indiana/Fort Wayne area. My Amish friends raise several colts. My current BO has broodmare operation - foals them out & then breeds them (AI facility). Another friend may be able to take one. He just put a 3 yro stud colt in training this summer, with my local (VA) trainer. Trainer was pleasantly surprised, well shocked, by the manners on this horse. Colt is great to work around. He raises Saddlebreds &/Dutch Harness Horses - had ~half dozen 2015 colts; also ducks, cattle & a few pigs. Loves his horses though.
Board is pretty reasonable.
Yay! Thanks COTHERS! She’s heading to Northern Pines This weekend!
sLP, I brought her Saturday. Beautiful facility, and she shipped like a champ… We even stopped and picked up a horse at Kentree and she was perfect. All went well except that I started crying when they took the leadrope
She will have wonderful care, they are great with the babies…glad it all worked out!
