Foaling by the signs/moon

Truly, unless fescue was an issue, your best way of predicting foaling is testing the milk.

I’ve (luckily) never had to deal with the fescue issue, but does anyone know how much fescue and for how long a mare must be exposed to it for it to become an issue?

She is continuing to slowly bag up more and more, so we are very hopeful that we caught things in time for her to be able to feed her baby when it decides to come out.

I got a milk testing kit, and I am thinking I will start testing her in the next day or two. She has calmed down a bit, I think she was just super uncomfortable last week and we thought perhaps it was labor. She’s back to acting normally, and enjoying her “special” hay.
