Fox hunting in November

RiderinTheRain, I’m sure the horses were frightened by your husband’s dress because they know what proper turn out is, and that sparkly dresses are evening wear, not to be worn before 6pm.

I would love to see a photo of your husband, however, he (understandably) may prefer not to have a photo of himself in a sparkly dress displayed, in perpetuity, on the internet. I suppose some things are better left to the imagination.

The best fox run I have had we never moved. The hounds got a fox up along a river. The fox crossed the river and went up the mountain on the other side. Then he turned left and went across the face of the mountain. Eventually he came down the mountain, recrossed the river and went around behind the field. The hounds were behind him the whole time. He got back to the river and disappeared down a hole.

Since it was winter and all the leaves were down, we got to see the hole thing and we never moved off the spot where we stood.
