This is the first thing I think of, too! Love it.
My sister goes to foxcroft and she enjoys it! I will say that the riding program is very structured- even rides outside of lessons are scheduled at specific times. But the facilities are super nice and health is a top priority.
I will say that if you want to show a lot but canât afford to go to WEF for 3 months, then itâs best to ride at a different barn (I know that a few students ride with Denice Perry and one- now in college- rode at Penny Leigh) because foxcroft doesnât go to many shows over the winter other than WEF.
Just out of curiosity, do the Foxcroft kids who go to WEF commute back and forth just to show on the weekends? Or do they stay in Florida and do their schoolwork remotely?
no, they get to stay the whole time. They have this program called exceptional proficiency which also applies to other athletes who need to miss school where their teachers send them all the work they need to do. IMO thatâs a big reason to go to foxcroft if you can afford to go to WEF.
Interesting, thanks.
I think it has changed a lot in recent years and I was extremely unimpressed with the coach when I toured. Feel free to inbox me.
