Seemed like lots of withdrawals.
Also seemed like a lot of RNAs. Are RNAs calculated into the average or median sales numbers?
They are highly skilled of course. And quick! Did you see Hip #12 rear and strike? The handler managed him beautifully.

Median and average were both up over last yearâs opening session.
Youâll see more withdrawals at the ultra-select sales like Saratoga or Keeneland Book 1. If a $$$ horse has a developmental issue or even an ill-timed slight presale injury like a splint or hoof abscess, they may be held over for the 2yo sales or sold privately, or kept for racing.
