I remember that.
I was a little sad that she did not bring Valegro with her, but I could understand not wanting to put him through the trip just for that occasion.
I actually saw her sitting by the stalls that day. I don’t think she had an appearance in the ring since the hunters were showing, but she looked like she was just hanging out.
I would love to see that!
I did not find it with a quick online search. Although trying to find a specific win photo with Kent is a challenge, because there are a lot of them out there. He has won many, many, many classes! Lol.

The picture I remember was from Kent winning the Grand Prix at that show a couple of years after that, and Trump was standing a bit closer to him.
But as I said, there are a lot of win photos of Kent out there!

I remember Bloomberg doing an interview about how great working with Trump was and how wonderful he was to allow use of the ice skating rink for the horses.
That aged like sour milk LOL
It’s amazing how just a few years changes everything so much. In 2014 Trump was just a guy who had a TV show, some hotels, and kept saying weird stuff about the president.

There was also a horse show held a couple of years at Mar-a-Lago, although I never attended that one. I seem to recall seeing pictures one year when the stalls were basically underwater.
I’m not sure what Trump’s angle on that one was, other than to try to look like he was part of the horse related in crowd of Palm Beach society or something.

He had (maybe still has) some connections with the horse world in the Wellington area. But I haven’t lived in the area since 2015 so it could be very different now.
That was around the same general time as the Central Park shows, although I don’t recall the exact overlap.
But I’m guessing the person who organized the Central Park shows also did the same for the ones at Mar-a-Lago.
Georgina Bloomberg and her team did most of the work on getting Central Park to happen so it may have been different management companies

That’s not the person I was thinking of, but he was definitely involved in both shows.
I saw on FB that Steve had back surgery a few days ago and is out for a while, so his lack of participation is in part necessity. I bet that is more about objecting to losing a home venue. He doesn’t strike me as a bratty rider at all, though I don’t know him or anything.

This article includes side-by-side videos from the jump off, which I always find to be super interesting. They were pretty darn neck and neck until the run to the last jump, when Kent really hit the gas! Lol.
