@SLW Yes, I also found out the “hard way.” Smart little things! I’ve used clicker training a bit with the jenny and it’s helped a lot, especially with picking up her feet. I need to use it more often.

I had also came by a poorly treated intact mini jack. I had him gelded after he looked healthy. He stayed super mellow and didn’t get studdy. I just didn’t want to risk mules 
I’d wait til early spring. Enjoy your guy, he’s adorable.
