Update: he’s eating both meds in some soaked Unbeetable and feed. Mostly.
I toss the omeprazole on top of some wet feed, and I sorta dissolve the sucralfate and toss that on some more feed later. I worry it’s a waste of meds, but my vet said it’s better than nothing if not ideal.
The timing of the sucralfate has been the hardest thing to nail down because of work schedules, but we are doing the best we can. I may have to do one dose in his AM feed and just hope for the best, otherwise he will only consistently get the sucralfate once a day.
Ugh, ulcers!
