Discussing George Morris on a horse forum is a lot like discussing same-sex marriage on any forum populated by a diverse userbase. You will get a lot of polarization, drama, and maybe even a fight or two about what is right and what is wrong.
After two warnings re: the tone and content of her posts, we banned a new user.
You’re all welcome to share differing opinions, but when someone joins evidently primarily for the purpose of posting inflammatory statements to incite other posters, we don’t support that activity.

Back on topic, a teenage boarder at my barn showed up last night all aglow over her experience at a Kevin Babbington clinic. I was happy for her. Then I added, “Now, if you’re real brave, you’ll do a clinic with George Morris next.”

Unbelievable that a kid who jumps 3’6" and has GP aspirations has never heard of GM, not once in 10+ years of H/J riding. :no: Heck, I knew who GM was when I was an 8 y/o walk-trotter! Kevin Babbington is a mere plebe (albeit a talented one) next to the likes of GM!
Is it entirely overboard to call this sacrelige? Or am I overreacting?
