Grand Prix dressage live streaming

What issues, Velvet? Did you watch the test?[/QUOTE]

Take a look at the Horse and Hound site - Emile Faurie mentioned the issues in his description movement by movement

Where can we see a list of all of the scores, individual and teams.

Will someone please explain to me what will be coming next?

Is the Team Competition over? Germany, GB, and USA for medals?

Is the Individual Freestyle tomorrow?

Is there a Team Freestyle?

Thank you!

OK, the judges know far more than I do but I can’t see how that wasn’t over scored.

IMO, the passage was clearly off the floor and the horse could sit in the piaffe. THe quality of the zig zag was better than most. She got one of the highest halt rein-back scores of the day (although we couldn’t tell by the view). Isabel squeeks every point out of the test and isn’t fazed by mistakes - I’m not sure why anyone here is surprised. Her mistakes were minimal.

It’s not about mistakes at this level. Almost no one is making mistakes. It’s about the elusive quality you see in Valegro–power, rhythm, relaxation, and forward. Isabel knows how to ride every point, but as they were saying the scores as it was going along, she was clearly getting a point higher here and there over others because of who she is and that she’s been around so long.

Her zig zag was correct in accuracy, but it really lacked bend. I think Verdades was one that showed really good bend in it (if I remember right.)

I just found a link to the scores in the Horse and Hound link posted in Post #375.

So I am still wondering, is the Team Competition finished?

And, do I understand correctly that there will be 18 Freestyle Rides? Will that be the top 18 individual riders, or did I hear somewhere that each country can only send a certain number? Two or Three?

No. The top 6 teams, and top 8 individuals not already moving on as part of a team, will do the GP Special. That, added to the GP, will determine team medals.

Then the top riders from the GP and Special will move on to the individual freestyle. The freestyle does not count towards the team competition.

Yea, I don’t know. To me, Diddy was uneven in the passage but he scored 9s by some judges. I think the best thing to do is watch the replays with the sound off. The angles of the cameras don’t do the NBC live streamers a whole lot of favors, though!

Go here: http://rio2016.live.fei.org/Dressage1/results

It gives results for all individuals and if you click the “Details” button, it will give you all the marks movement by movement for that individual.

Team results (to date) are at the bottom of the page.

ETA: I didn’t see that someone else posted this link above - sorry!

When is the GP special? I don’t see it listed as an upcoming event.

Laura made a pretty large mistake, as did some of the other riders (whether it was in their control or not). It’s not like mistakes aren’t factoring into these scores. Her zig zag wasn’t huge but she changed bend almost perfectly and got more actual half-pass strides then many others (who were short prior to the change). I think the technical aspect of her riding is what saves her time and time again.

Thanks for the link! I did see it, and I read through his comments on Isabel’s test. I’m glad I watched the test myself! But this is what Replay is all about, folks! We can now go back and look for ourselves.

She actually did seven strides in one of the zags.

THANKS!!!

For those who are also struggling to get the link open
