No, but what it does do is give the top trainers an opportunity to look at a large number of promising riders in a more intensive context than just a clinic on home soil. The talent is out there, but weeding it out and developing it is the hard part. Right now it’s too comfortable to just take the money from rich kids over-horsed on 500k pro-caliber mounts. Let’s give the sport an infusion in another direction.
