PTR, as I said, I had euth’d a horse earlier this year that was insured through XL. He racked up nearly 7k in hospital bills, for which I received payment within 14 days. Once he was PTS, I received the mortality portion also within 2 weeks. All this was occurring around Easter so there were some holiday delays, but I was happy with the service and found it comparable to the Great American policy that I had to use for mortality the year before.
I think it was supposed to be a joke.
