I had a Section A Welsh filly born this year with an odd flaxen tail. Dam is bay, sire is black. The filly has bright blue eyes as well. I’m curious if it will stay flaxen.

Very unlikely that will stay, that’s just a strong expression of baby flaxen

I wouldn’t expect hers to stay either.
I haven’t taken any pics specifically of my girl’s tail since summer, but she’s a long yearling and it’s still the same. Some pics from the past month that caught her tail to some degree. There’s black close to her body, but much of it is white dock to tip.
