Guy Flies His Drone Copter Over a Herd of Wild Horses and Then . . .

My herd would do the same thing. Except our donkey would have broken the toy much more thoroughly. I agree that it wasn’t a wild group of horses. Obviously a well-fed group and a donkey buddy. It’s funny how people think any horses out on range land must be wild. Nope. Government leases mean that ranchers can use the land for livestock; including horses.

At that price tag, I wouldn’t worry too much about drones over your farm. Besides, even a little BB gun would take it down pretty quickly.

I can guarantee you that 9 out of 10 barn owners could not hit a moving drone with a BB gun. Most people can’t hit a moving target in the air with a shotgun. Just take them to a trap or skeet range and find out what happens when they try. It will be worth a few laughs after the initial “Hey, this will be easy!”

Just watched the video again and I now realize that it was the donkey tossing the poor thing around like a dog toy! How typical!
True story. I’m sure the Evil Burrito would love a helicopter chew toy

My guy would also think ‘EEKK! WAIT! CHEWTOY!’

. . . moves on to a different area, loses control of his drone copter, and guess where it crash lands? Yep, in the middle of the herd of wild horses! Take a look at what happens when the horses decide to come over to investigate that pesky drone copter that annoyed them earlier. The fun starts 3:45 into the video.

THAT is hysterical!!! Thanks for that Mike!

You’re right, Mike, most people would have a hard time hitting it. It would be fun to try though.

Those guys appeared to be in really good shape for feral horses. Did anybody notice the donkey running with the bunch?
Yeah, I thought they looked awfully fat and sassy with nice feet (with lovely close-ups of some), and yes, that looked like donkey in with the mob. And apparently they’re really bored. Once my horses got past the ZOMG MONSTER moment and established it was not good to eat they’d have gotten bored and wandered off.
