Guy McLean and His Horse in Serious Accident at Equine Affaire

He is a little bit of a sentimentalist but that doesn’t negate him being an amazing rider and horseman.[/QUOTE]

I think this may have more to do with his audience than Guy being sentimental. I don’t have a ton of firsthand experience but I’d put him well about the Parellis (et al) although there is a lot of crossover when it comes to the hyper-sentimental audience.

I certainly won’t judge here, even if I also found the language in the message…not really my thing.

I’m glad both horse and rider are well, that was very scary.

Glad all is well.

I remember seeing him doing a half time show couple years ago (was it at WEG or Olympics maybe) and part of his act was galloping straight at the crowd and stopping at the last minute- I just remember it being part of the act to look like he was going to jump into the crowd - and there was another bit where a loose horse jumped out of the ring over the boards also part of act-

Not my kind of thing but no doubt he is an amazing trainer…

Healing hhhhmmmssss from me.

A Quote from Dr Travis, "I can fix your shoulder. I can fix your arm. I can fix your leg. I cannot fix your brain. Whenever you go off the ground. Up a ladder. Up a tree. Onto a horse, etc Put a helmet on.

I bet if he and his crew started wearing helmets it would go a long way to them being more accepted in western. JMHO
