H/J Rider Needs Help With Western Saddles!

I thought about going the ebay route, but I’m only looking at saddles that I can try on him before I decide to buy. I honestly don’t know enough about western saddles to guess at how it will fit him.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I have lots to look up tonight

Have you checked Latigo Lariat in Loveland, Colorado? She does have staff who can check saddle fit on site. She has a decent number of western saddles in the store.

There is a wide range of western trees, so even if something is a semi QH bar, it may or may not fit.

For under $100, isn’t ebay worth a shot?

I mean, if you buy reputable brands, know if the saddle you purchase has good ‘bones’ so to speak, even if it does not fit, you stand to resell and MAKE money…
At least that is the case with mine.

But I certainly understand your position, too.

Just saw this! I actually hadn’t thought of that. I pass that store on my way to work everyday. Might just have to stop in tomorrow on my way home
