I have a mini who has EMS. She is prone to be laminitic. We have her on a great weight loss diet, free from sugars and starches, management program.
She is stalled at night and I notice she stretches every morning before we turn her out. I’ve been thinking of putting her on straight HA. I’ve heard Glucosamine has sugars in it, and to stay away from it.
Does anyone have a horse with EMS and have them on HA for joint care? If not what do you use for joint care? If you do, what brand of HA do you use?
