I put my spurs on under and it solves the hassle of trying to fit the spurs on above.

Yes! I TOTALLY agree. I like the look with breeches but not jeans. It looks too casual or something. It reminds me of wearing only jeans to ride in.
I have a pair of Ariats that are great in the summer, but in the winter I can’t fit them over my thinsulate boots. Anyone else discovered this problem??
Although I don’t love the look, I finally gave in and bought a pair for the summer. Much better than peeling off full chaps when it’s 85 or 90 degrees. I do put them away for the winter.
