I got my loose ring from Running Fox in Ontario, and the 2 ring from http://www.horsebitbank.com it took over a month for it to arrive in Ontario, and the majority of that was spent in transit! My coach and I were 90% sure the 2 ring would be just the ticket for him so it was worth the risk.

North Dakota, where did you buy them?
Yb, yeah, I fear the moment when the monkey discovers the duo has no power to intervene in his enthusiasm out and about. We switch to a metal bit, which he clicks his teeth on but listens to.[/QUOTE]
I learned how to stop pulling and make time on my first training horse. After plugging around a couple of training courses, I got sent out on him (MUCH more experienced than me) with a Nathe. I could pull and tug all I wanted, and he’d just blow me off and rate himself accordingly. Of course, it’s a bit different riding a greenie and having them blow you off.
Yeah, this is the pony who currently goes in a lever noseband cross country. Doesn’t need much bit, but you can’t leave him in charge. He has absolutely fine to his fences and I’m completely ok with his general level of forward, but he decides to just charge off in the wrong direction sometimes.
My sensitive mouthed TB goes great in a loose ring Waterford.
