well he mentioned that he was harassed in the past by some people on COTH (and after getting some interesting PMs I really believe him and have a feeling that I know who it was). So why is that excusable behavior…COTHERs are allowed to harass?

If sound, $10k would be very reasonable in our area, but I’ve seen enough videos to cause concern about that. I do hope she finds a good home. She’s seems to have a lovely temperment.

To my knowledge he has not been harassed or even contacted personally, other than people posting comments on his public blogs and social media pages. He considers that harassment. He considers talking about him on COTH harassment. The word doesn’t mean what he thinks it means.
And again, nobody is repomsible for his actions but himself. Trying to lay the blame on others is very distasteful.

after all my experiences here I really tend to agree with him and I am really not sure whether I am able to agree with you about your opinion about who is being harassed by whom. We seem to have very very different points of view on that topic

No one should be harassing anyone on COTH. And for csaper to use the fact that he’s been, or claims to have been, “harassed” before does not give him the right to harass others. In fact, anyone who has been the recipient of harassment is often very careful not to participate in that same behavior. There are no excuses for bad behavior.
And I absolutely believe you’ve been through the ringer…we all have been at one point or another. However, please don’t let your own experiences make you vulnerable to csaper’s stories of woe. He instigates so much friction and enjoys playing the role of contrarian on threads–it doesn’t surprise me that he wants to play the victim role as well by making it sound like he is harassed.

I’m not at all surprised to hear that csaper is a guy, it explains SO much. Oy. (We really need that old eye rolling emoticon back, it is so apropos in this situation.)
Why else would the defense of NP (and his so-called “reputation”) be so vehement and strident?
