I’ll have to poke around some more on the website. It looked like they wanted me to photograph the bar codes with my phone and submit from an app. From my desktop would be much better.
I’ve had horses start bucking for all types of pain reasons…check out his legs as well to make sure you are not missing a very subtle lameness there (including hips/stifles). First thing I suspect when an otherwise non-reactive/hot horse starts bucking is lameness/pain.
I was able to get the rebate by submitting e-mail receipts from Valley Vet, etc. on my desktop.
I have had trouble using the app but have done fine uploading receipts from my laptop.
Hello, Sounds like there’s been a definite trigger for his change in his behaviour. Ulcers don’t tend to develop as quickly as three days but if for whatever reason his stomach had already been exposed, the trip away may have triggered something. Every horse is so different and unique but there’s some great advice and information on this blog about ulcers and even preventative measures and signs to look out for http://blog.trackener.com/2017/11/equine-gastric-ulcer-syndrome.html It’s always a good idea to speak to a vet incase there are some obvious veterinary red flags. Good luck with it and I hope he returns to normal asap!
A former vet of mine was part of a study that proved that horses began developing ulcers after just 90 minute of being shipped in a trailer. I would imagine any stressful situation could have a quick an effect on any horse. And yes I have had horses that bucked due to ulcers
