Have the Olympics jumped the shark?

My only thing about permenant venues is the burden it puts on the local people every 4 years. While their businesses might profit from it, I personally wouldn’t want to deal with that headache of traffic, throngs of people, tightened security etc. I think it would get old.

If they were to establish permanent Olympic venues, it would definitely change the cities that they’re in.
