Just a friendly suggestion, after the obvious restrictions with Covid, don’t discount looking for a PRE in Mexico. They have some excellent horses and discerning breeders…

Regarding taxes: I imported a horse from Spain last summer (long story that went very wrong…) After I paid for him the seller sent me a message “just so you know, we reported the sales price to government as $xxx (1/2 what I paid) for tax purposes” Have no idea why she told me this…but it sure didn’t help my opinion of her.
