I admit I didn’t check FedEx, I don’t even know where the nearest FedEx store is. 
I have good relationships with my USPS and UPS people, such that they leave packages on my back porch normally - but we don’t have a gate (even if I would like one), and we only recently relocated the hidden front door. FedEx is always a toss-it-and-run delivery here The saddle I bought two weeks ago is coming tomorrow via UPS, thankfully.

Yeah they leave stuff tucked against the fence to the side, generally not visible to the road but in clear view of my plain view camera.
Welcome! It’s sadly accurate, but so far I’ve been lucky nothing has broken 
. My main bitch with Fedex is they toss stuff on the inside of my gate (I get it, being nice and trying to keep people from stealing it) but they do it right in the middle - I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been stuck on the road side of my inward-opening gate, trying to move a heavy box just by reaching through the little gaps in the bottom of the wire-filled gates to slide it over enough that I can open the gates.
