I wound up getting the 2-inch. His previous net had 1.5-inch and his barn mate’s is 1.5-inch (they can basically share hay nets if they want) and he was fine with that, but I wanted to see how the 2-inch worked. He can definitely eat faster out of it, but that’s fine. I figure the less snatching and tugging and slinging the better for his neck and back.
